FA Cup Final preview: Arsenal vs Chelsea prediction, team news, starting line-ups, kick off time, live, TV, head to head, odds

Premier League champions Chelsea head into today's FA Cup Final hoping to secure the first Double in English football since they achieved the feat back in 2010.

The Blues face London rivals Arsenal at Wembley Stadium, with Antonio Conte's side having defeated Tottenham 4-2 in the semi-finals.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are looking to add some much-needed gloss to their otherwise uninspiring campaign, having failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time since 1998.

Their manager, Arsene Wenger, can become the first manager in English footballing history to win seven FA Cups.

TEAM NEWS

Wenger has taken the stunning decision to drop Petr Cech, who played in the sixth round and quarter final, and promote David Ospina, who will start at Wembley against Chelsea's formidable frontline.

Meanwhile Arsenal’s defence emerged from the 3-1 win over Everton battered and bruised, with Laurent Koscielny’s reckless tackle on Enner Valencia, for which he earned a straight red card, only the start of a trying day for Arsene Wenger.

Gabriel has been ruled out for six to eight weeks with medial knee ligament damage whilst Shkodran Mustafi, who had been expected to recover from illness, has not yet returned to training and faces a race against time to prove his fitness.

Were Mustafi to miss out Per Mertesacker could be pressed into his first start of the season with Wenger weighing up whether to stick with the back three with which he has won eight of his last nine games.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to return to training though whether he fully recovers from a hamstring injury to replace Hector Bellerin remains unclear.

Chelsea have benefitted for much of the season with one of the shortest injury lists in the league and Conte should have a full squad to choose from.

Willian was preferred to Pedro in the starting lineup for the 5-1 win over Sunderland on Sunday and which of those two start in Conte’s front three is likely to be the only matter of contention in a settled side.

POSSIBLE LINE UPS

Arsenal XI: Ospina; Holding, Mertesacker, Monreal; Bellerin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Gibbs; Ozil, Sanchez; Welbeck

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Hazard; Costa
