FA confirm VAR changes for this season's FA Cup
The English Football Association have announced a VAR modification for this season's FA Cup on Monday.
The technology will now be used in every match in the Fifth Round and onwards for the 2024-25 season.
VAR was previously only used in the fFinal at Wembley and Premier League grounds with the appropriate infrastructure.
According to the FA, "This decision ensures that there is a consistent refereeing approach for all clubs taking part in the same stage of the competition."

The FA Cup is currently in the Third Round of the competition, with matches set to begin on 9 January 2025.
Manchester United are the current title holders.
