For the second time in as many years, Ezekiel Elliott's pet Rottweiler has been accused of biting people.

The Dallas Cowboys running back was issued three animal-at-large citations on Thursday after his three dogs were seen on the loose in his Starwood neighborhood of Frisco, Texas, according to the Dallas Morning News. One dog, Elliott's Rottweiler Ace, reportedly bit two people who required hospitalization for non-life-threatening injuries.

Frisco Animal Services reportedly corralled the dogs and placed Ace in a mandatory 10-day quarantine for observation. Frisco police told the Morning News that no charges have been filed but the investigation is still ongoing.

Pool cleaner claimed Ezekiel Elliott's dogs attacked her

The incident comes less than a year after a cleaner sued Elliott over allegations that his dogs had attacked her during a cleaning in March 2020.

The woman claimed she was ambushed by the dogs, with Ace attacking first and dragging her by the arm. Elliott's two bulldogs then allegedly bit at her legs.

The alleged attack landed the woman in the emergency room and led to surgery on her forearm at the site of the doubt. Seeking between $200,000 and $1 million, she claimed it wasn't the first time Elliott's dogs had attacked someone from the pool-cleaning company.

Per the Morning News, police investigated the incident, but did not file charges. The lawsuit is reportedly still pending, with a tentative trial date set for next February.

In addition to Elliott's incidents with dogs, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's American Staffordshire terrier was seized after biting his neighbor while on the loose. The dog, which reportedly bit off the woman's finger, wasn't put down, but wasn't allowed to return to Frisco.

Elliott's father was also charged in 2019 for allegedly owning an illegal African cat that escaped, attacked a neighbor's dog and was shot dead by police in Ohio.
