It is safe to say that Carlile took advantage of it big time, as he scored his first career NHL goal against the Kraken.
Carlile's first career NHL goal was a beauty, too. After receiving a nice feed from Lightning forward Luke Glendening, Carlile sniped a wrist shot past Kraken goalie Joey Daccord.

This was Carlile's second career NHL game, as he made his NHL debut last season with the Bolts. While he was held off the scoresheet in his first career NHL game, he changed that in a big way against the Kraken.
Carlile will now look to stay hot after scoring this wonderful first NHL goal from here.
