Exciting Flyers Goalie Prospect Makes Remarkable Save

Philadelphia Flyers goalie prospect Yegor Zavragin is having an excellent season in the KHL. In 23 games this season, the 19-year-old netminder has a 12-8-1 record, a .924 save percentage, and a 2.42 goals-against average.

Given that Zavragin is so young and having great success in the KHL, Flyers fans are naturally excited about him. If he continues to develop in the right direction, he could become a special goalie for the Flyers later down the road.

In SKA Saint Petersburg's game against HC Sochi on Friday (Dec. 27), Zavragin showed off his high potential by making an outstanding save on forward Ilya Fedotov.

After Zavragin made an initial save, Fedotov picked up the rebound and had plenty of net open to shoot at. However, Zavragin recovered beautifully and robbed Fedotov with a diving save.

Zavragin's spectacular save proved massive, too, as SKA defeated Sochi by a 5-4 final score. The youngster stopped 33 out of 37 shots he faced in the win. However, this save was clearly his most impressive from the contest.
