🎥 It's exactly 29 years since this Italy legend made his Serie A debut 🧤
29 years ago to the day, the world was introduced to one of the best ever goalkeepers as Gianluigi Buffon made his Serie A debut for Parma.
At the tender age of 17, the Italian made his top-flight bow in a 0-0 draw with eventual title winners Milan, making saves to deny Roberto Baggio and George Weah.
He of course went on to make almost 1000 club appearances across spells at PSG, Parma and notably Juventus, while he also racked up 176 caps for the Azzurri, lifting the World Cup in 2006.
