Ex-Real Madrid and Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos linked with a move to South America
Spanish legend Sergio Ramos has spent a few months without a club following his short-lived return to boyhood side Sevilla last season.
The Real Madrid legend is currently spending his time in Madrid, maintaining his fitness and preparing himself for when a suitable offer should arrive for his services.
The 38-year-old might be one step closer to finding out where his future lies, as reports indicate that a club in Brazil have made an offer for the legendary defender.
As per Diario AS, the club in question is Vasco de Gama, who have been reported to be in contact with Ramos’ representatives regarding a move.
This brings a new possible destination into the discussion, following previous rumours regarding a move to MLS or Saudi Arabia.
The biggest barrier to a move for Ramos has always been his high salary, which makes any signing a tough sell given the fact he is coming to the end of his career at 38 years of age.
It looks as though Sergio Ramos may be getting one step closer to discovering his new home, but it remains to be seen who will meet his high demands.
