Khedira made almost exactly the same number of top-flight appearances for Juventus and Stuttgart, with a tally of 99 in Serie A and a figure of 98 in the Bundesliga.
Khedira was born in Stuttgart, and spent nine years in the club’s academy before making his debut in the Bundesliga in 2006.
He would go on to make 132 appearances in all competitions for the recent Bundesliga runners-up, scoring 16 goals in the process, before securing a move to Real Madrid and later to Juve.
Khedira is also expected to be in attendance at the Allianz Stadium for tomorrow’s game in the Champions League, which kicks off at 20.00 BST.
