Ex-Bruins Star Just Can't Stop Scoring Goals

According to Sportsnet Stats, DeBrusk now has 16 goals in 26 games since Nov. 2, which is tied for the NHL lead over that span. That is great production from the former Bruin.

With the Bruins clearly needing more scoring, it is fair to say that they could use DeBrusk right now. However, GM Don Sweeney elected to go in a different direction this summer, and Vancouver scooped DeBrusk up on a seven-year, $38.5 million contract in free agency. Right now, this deal looks like a home run for the Canucks.
In 35 games this season with the Canucks, DeBrusk has 16 goals, 27 points, and a plus-1 rating. With this, he has more goals than every player on the Bruins right now, and only David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand have more points than him on Boston.
