Ex-Bruins Forwards Get Real About 2023 Epic Collapse

The Boston Bruins' 2022-23 regular season will never be forgotten. The Original Six club set NHL records with 65 regular-season wins and 135 points. However, as dominant as the Bruins were during the regular season, they famously choked in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Bruins infamously blew a 3-1 series lead to the Florida Panthers in the first round, including losing Games 5 and 7 at home in overtime.

In a recent episode of the What Chaos podcast, former Bruins forwards Taylor Hall and Nick Foligno opened up about the club's epic collapse.

"Yeah, we f--ked that up," Hall said.

Foligno also added:

"Yeah, I'm so pissed. We talked about it because the other night, when we played, we all got in the hallway after because there were so many guys on our team that had played on Boston. So it was like a huge reunion, and we all walked away like, "God, we had something f--king special there. It's just disappointing that you don't get it done."

It is hard to disagree with Hall and Foligno, as that Bruins team undoubtedly had the potential to win the Stanley Cup. Their roster was so deep, and they also went big at the deadline, adding Dmitry Orlov, Tyler Bertuzzi, and Garnet Hathaway. However, even with all the talent the Bruins had then, they couldn't get it done.
