Everton re-sign veteran goalkeeper

Everton have announced the return of experienced goalkeeper Asmir Begović.

The 37-year-old is back on a one-year deal, having left last summer after two seasons to join QPR in the Championship.

Begović is expected to provide back-up to first choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and his understudy João Virginia.

His arrival also means that one or both of Harry Tryer and Billy Crelin will be permitted to depart the club on loan this summer.
