Everton 'receive bid' from Atalanta for Ben Godfrey
Everton have reportedly received a bid from Atalanta for defender Ben Godfrey.
According to the Athletic’s David Ornstein, the Europa League holders have submitted a proposal in the region of €10m.
But the verbal offer fell below the Toffees’ €15m valuation, understood to have been put forward by another club interested in Godfrey.
Godfrey will enter the final 12 months of his existing contract at Goodison Park next month, leaving Sean Dyche’s side with a decision to make.
The versatile centre-back has made 93 appearances in all competitions since joining from Norwich City in October 2020.
