The 24-year-old's previous deal was set to expire in 2027, and this extension means he has committed almost the next decade of his career to the club, with his new deal set to last until he turns 34.
The new deal reportedly does not contain the release clauses present in his previous one, and is believed to be one of the most lucrative in the history of sport.
โManchester City is a special Club, full of fantastic people with amazing supporters and itโs the type of environment that helps bring the best out of everybody," Haaland told the club's official website.
โI also want to thank Pep, his coaching staff, my teammates and everyone at the Club as they have all helped me so much in the past couple of years. They have made this such a special place to be and now I am City no matter what.
โI want to keep developing, keep working to get better and look to do my best to try and help us achieve more success going forward.โ

Haaland has regularly been linked with Real Madrid since joining City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, but this new deal appears to have warded off the Spanish giants.
During his time at City, the Norwegian international has scored 111 goals in 126 games, winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League and the FA Cup.
