Manchester United have welcomed their three soon-to-be new coaches to Carrington this morning with the club beginning their first day of pre-season training.

The Red Devils have had a busy summer so far, closing in on a double deal for Dutch duo Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee.

The Dutch summer theme has continued with Erik ten Hag’s contract extension, while it was heavily reported that United would be hiring three new coaches to assist the former Ajax manager.

Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake were both snapped entering Carrington being driven in the same car.

Neither can officially start work yet as they have not had their visas approved but everything else is in place for the coaches to start work once the legal issues are sorted.

Van Nistelrooy was tipped to become manager of Burnley but has been convinced that becoming an assistant at United, despite his previous experience as PSV Eindhoven manager, is the right step in his career.

It has been reported that the prospect of working with the former deadly striker is one of the factors that has convinced Zirkzee that a move to United is the correct career path for him.

Fans will be hopeful that Rasmus Hojlund and Ethan Wheatley can also benefit immensely from tapping into the former striker’s wealth of knowledge on finding the back of the net.

Hake’s head coaching experience includes guided Go Ahead Eagles to ninth place last season in the Eredivisie.

The 52-year-old has already spoken on his excitement at joining the club and has mentioned that getting the opportunity to work at a club like United is a “great reward” for his efforts.

The final new addition to arrive to the training ground was new goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

The former Burnley employee had previously agreed a deal to join Ajax but United paid the Eredivisie club compensation to steal the talented coach away from the clutches of the Dutch giants.

It is thought that he is an expert at coaching keepers and defenders to be better on the ball, so fans will be excited at the prospect of Andre Onana getting the opportunity to work with him.

United fans will also have a warm feeling of nostalgia wash over them as they get ready to witness legendary goalscorer Van Nistelrooy at Old Trafford again and a curiosity to see what lesser-known Hake can offer the Red Devils.
