Equanimeous St. Brown sounds interested in returning to the Bears

The arrival of new Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson is certainly going to bring more interest from coaches and players to potentially join the team next season, and that includes a familiar face.

On the "St. Brown Podcast" former Bears wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, the brother of Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, mentioned a potential reunion with his former team now that they have Johnson at head coach.

While he wouldn't come out directly and say it, Equanimeous told Amon-Ra to tell his former coach to send him a text message. When asked if he wants to return to Chicago, the former Bear responded with a reminder to just have his old coach text him.

"Tell Ben to text me," St. Brown said.

St. Brown, who was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2018, spent both the 2022 and 2023 seasons in Chicago, and he most recently played for the New Orleans Saints in 2024.

In his best professional season back in 2022, St. Brown played and started in all 16 games he appeared, catching 21 passes for 323 yards and one touchdown. The Bears could certainly find a role for him, and he would bring some depth to the receivers room.
