EPL ‘revelation’ finds himself a new agent as Fabrizio Romano confirms Man United interest
Bournemouth breakout star Milos Kerkez has changed agents while Manchester United are keeping close tabs on the situation.
The 21-year-old Hungarian has been constantly on the road during his youth years, representing a host of clubs between Serbia, Hungary and Austria. He also had a brief stint at AC Milan before making a big leap in quality at AZ Alkmaar which earned him a £15-million move to Bournemouth in the summer of 2023.
This season, the youngster has been one of the best revelations of the Premier League campaign, contributing with a goal and two assists in 19 appearances thus far. So despite being tied to the club with a contract until June 2028, many believe he won’t dwell at Vitality Stadium for too long, as it’s only a matter of time before one of the big boys swoops for his services.
But while the full-back has been heavily linked to Liverpool in recent weeks, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reveals that Man Utd are also in the race for the exciting young player.
Man United keeping an eye on Milos Kerkez
United certainly need a new left-back amidst Luke Shaw’s never-ending injury problems. Moreover, Tyrell Malacia has been omitted from the matchday squad for technical reasons ahead of the most recent contest against Wolves.
The transfer market guru also notes that Kerkez has now changed agencies, joining Fali Ramadani’s LIAN Sports Group. The stable also includes Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa and Nottingham Forest defender Nikola Milenkovic, as well as former Chelsea defender Kalilou Koulibaly who currently piles his trade in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal.
So it remains to be seen if the Red Devils will move swiftly and open up talks with the Hungarian’s new agent in order to get a head start over their competitors.
