According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández (23) is set to make a significant donation to an ant-discrimination charity after he filmed racist chanting directed at the France national team during Argentina’s Copa America victory celebrations.

The Argentine international has returned to pre-season training with the Blues whilst on their tour of the United States of America. With a large contingent of French players at the Premier League club, Fernández was heavily criticised by his teammates as several of them unfollowed him on social media and posted their thoughts about the chanting.

After his return to the squad, the former Benfica player has apologised to his French teammates within the Chelsea squad and has now been reintegrated. The West London club’s captain Reece James and France international Axel Disasi led the process involving Fernández.
