England vs Germany U21s: Euro 2017 semi-final preview, prediction, team news, line-ups, start time, live, TV, head to head, odds
Germany stand between England and a shot at European Under-21 Championship glory as both nations gearing up for what will be a passionate semi-final.
The Young Lions have already triumphed this summer by winning the Fifa U20 World Cup in South Korea, and the U21s must now follow suit in Poland.
Aidy Boothroyd's side finished top of group to reach the last four of the competition, while Germany got through by virtue of being the best-placed runners-up.
England's painful Euro 96 semi-final defeat to Germany has stuck with many a player as the Three Lions have disappointed in recent years, but enough time has passed so that many of the current U21s squad will have no recollection of that match.
A final awaits against either Spain or Italy, and England fans will be hoping for further proof that the woes of the so-called 'Golden Generation' are well and truly in the past - even if it comes down to a dreaded penalty shootout.
