Endrick reveals Cristiano Ronaldo influence on Real Madrid move

New Real Madrid signing Endrick has this afternoon opened up on his long-standing adoration for club legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

The name of youngster Endrick has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after the Brazilian’s long-awaited presentation as a new Real Madrid player was at last forthcoming.

After putting pen to paper on terms with Los Blancos all the way back in 2022, Endrick was on Saturday unveiled in front of his new club’s fans at the Santiago Bernabéu.

From here, the goalscorer took his place in front of the media, to answer a round of questions

As much gave rise to a whole host of interesting responses on Endrick’s part, albeit with one having since piqued more widespread attentions than any other across the fanbase of the Spanish champions.

Drawn on some of the leading factors behind his decision to ink terms with Real Madrid, the 18-year-old went on to point to childhood hero Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at the club as having played a more prominent role than anything else:

“Since I was little, I loved Real Madrid because of Cristiano Ronaldo. I came to Madrid for him.”
