Endrick in awe of Real Madrid teammates – ‘I used to play with them in FIFA, now I’m here’

Real Madrid’s squad is gearing up to take on AC Milan in their first match of the US pre-season tour.

A great deal of attention will be focused on new signing Endrick, who has quickly acclimated to the team’s dynamics and built rapport with his new teammates.

The young Brazilian completed his first session on the club’s pre-season tour and answered some of the media’s questions shortly after.

Endrick expressed that he felt some nervousness about starting training and wearing the Real Madrid jersey for the first time.

“I was a bit anxious to train and put on the shirt. We have to keep training because we already have a match against AC Milan and we have to be in good shape,” he professed via MARCA.

Moreover, Endrick mentioned that the coaching staff is giving him valuable advice. Ancelotti is closely watching the teenage sensation during training, providing corrections to help him fit into the team’s system.

“I’ve just arrived and I speak a lot with the manager and everyone at the club,” he commented.

From controlling the star-studded Real Madrid team on a video game, Endrick now has the opportunity to play alongside the very players he once admired.

Touching upon the immense privilege, claimed: “I’m talking to all my teammates and I’m very happy because I used to play with them in FIFA and now I’m here, it’s very good for me, I have no words.”

Finally, Endrick stated that he really likes Chicago and is glad to have visited. He is happy that his family is there with him and is excited to mark the pre-season tour on a high note with the Merengues.

“I really like Chicago and having been able to come here. My family is here too… I’m very happy and I want to play a good game with Madrid,” he concluded.
