Real Madrid qualify for the final 8 of the Copa Del Rey, following a sensational victory against Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The youngsters of Madrid stepped up when it mattered the most, along with some experience helping them along the way.

Here is how the Real Madrid players fared against Celta Vigo.

Andriy Lunin: 6.0

An underwhelming outing for the Ukrainian. Got away with a clear penalty in the first half but made the same mistake again and this time, did not get away with it. Could have saved Jonathan Bamba’s goal though.

Lucas Vazquez: 6.5

Not extraordinary by any means but a way better display than that on the weekend. Did well defensively. Made 3 tackles and a couple of interceptions.

Raul Asencio: 7.0

Was outstanding for most part of the game but made a rather needless challenge late in the match to concede a penalty. Kept Borja Iglesias quiet in his time on the pitch.

Antonio Rüdiger: 7.0

Partnered well with the young Asencio. Again, better than the last match. Made as many as 4 clearances and 1 tackle to sum up his outing.

Fran García: 7.0

Defensively improving as every game goes by, but could have done better with his decision making while he had the ball. Made some good overlapping runs and was not challenged much on the right wing.

Luka Modric: 7.5

Class truly is permanent for this veteran, who put in another solid shift in his 80 minutes on the pitch. 4 key passes and won 5/10 duels. Not a bad day at the office for the Croatian.

Aurelien Tchouaméni: 8.5

Was booed and whistled in the early stages of the match but made it up to the fans with a fantastic performance. Clearly better as a defensive midfielder. Tried to overdo things a bit but gladly it did not cost the side much. Ended up with an assist, 3 key passes and won 8/13 duels.

Dani Ceballos: 7.5

Just gets better and better with each game. Set up Mbappe for the opening goal and progressed the ball well throughout the match.

Brahim Díaz: 7.5

Showed his class on the right wing. Was a constant threat on that flank and ended up with an assist for Vinicius’ goal.

Kylian Mbappe: 8.0

Seems to have regained his confidence. Scored an incredible solo goal and was involved in the buildup to the second goal as well. 1 key passes, 3/3 dribbles, and won all his duels. Fabulous display from the World Cup winner.

Vinícius Júnior: 7.5

Not as involved in the first half but made it up with a better performance in the 2nd half. Scored a goal and even could have had a second.

Substitutes:

Eduardo Camavinga: 5.5

Forgetful performance from the Frenchman. Gave the ball away for Celta’s first goal and was unable to redeem himself. Unfortunately ruled out for three weeks due to injury.

Arda Güler: 8.0

A brilliant, brilliant display from the Turk. Fair to say he deserved a start but made the most of his 50 minutes on the pitch. Had a goal ruled offside but ended up assisting Endrick for both his goals.

Fede Valverde: 7.5

Did not feel the need for him to come on. But he did and did what he does best. Score a banger, seal the win and head back home.

Endrick: 9.0

A statement making performance by the 18-year old. Absolute bludgeoned the ball home for the opening goal and a cheeky backheel to end the night. Has insane shot power for a guy his age. Hopefully more opportunities in the games to come.

Jude Bellingham: 6.5

Another player who did not need to come on. Played on the left side of midfield, held his ground made 1 key pass and won a couple of duels.

Rodrygo: 6.0

Had a 15-minute cameo where he recorded 1 key pass and a shot on target.
