Empoli join race for Eldor Shomurodov

Empoli are seeking the services of Eldor Shomurodov from Roma.

The Tuscan side are said to have approached Roma in recent days, inquiring about Shomurodov’s availability.

The Uzbek striker is expected to leave the Italian capital in January after failing to make an impact throughout the first half of the season.

Knowing that Roma are already looking for a replacement, Shomurodov is now being targeted by the likes of Empoli and Cagliari, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
