Emiliano Martínez has just produced a contender for save of the season against Nottingham Forest.

Aston Villa travelled to the City Ground hoping for all three points, but after a lacklustre first half they almost went a goal down on the hour mark.

Nicolás Domínguez met a corner with a firm downward header from a matter of yards out, only for Martínez to somehow scoop the ball from under him while diving backwards, keeping the ball out of his net by millimetres.

His effort paid off just minutes later, when Jhon Durán rose highest to head Aston Villa into the lead.
