💔 Elation to heartbreak in brutal 2 minutes for Denmark
Germany may have been denied by VAR in the first half, but they were thanking those in charge in the second after a crazy 60 seconds.
The tournament hosts found themselves a goal down six minutes into the second half when Joachim Andersen fired in a loose ball from a set piece, only for VAR to overturn the decision for a very narrow offside decision.
Germany immediately went down the other end, and VAR intervened in their favour once more as snickometer revealed a handball from the same player, which resulted in a penalty to Julian Nagelsmann's side.
That allowed Kai Havertz to slot his side into the lead from the spot, and capped an awful few minutes for the Danes.
47’ mins - Andersen scores for Denmark
49’ mins - goal disallowed for offside
51’ mins - Handball by Andersen, penalty to Germany
53’ mins - Havertz scores for Germany

With VAR coming to Germany's rescue, could it finally be their turn to lift the European Championship this summer?
