Griffith, who was on a PTO, lead the Condors in scoring last season with 63 points (15 goals, 48 assists) and tied for the team lead in games played with 68. He currently sits 67th on the AHL all-time scoring list with 572 points in 619 career AHL games. He could jump into the top 40 if he puts up similar numbers this season.

Savoie put up five points in six games with the Rochester Americans and 71 in 34 WHL games last season. He also played in his first NHL game with the Buffalo Sabres.

Acquired by the Oilers in a surprise July trade, Savoie is now the Oilers top prospect and will have lots of opportunity to refine his game in the AHL to start the season. He should immediately be slotted onto the teams top line and first powerplay unit.

Should they clear waivers Dineen and Carrick have a breadth of AHL experience. Dineen recorded 25 points in 58 games for the Condors last season, while Carrick had 34 points in 70 games with the Calder Cup runner-up Coachella Valley Firebirds.

Bakersfield lost in the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs to the Ontario Reign last season. Their first game will come against the Firebirds on Oct. 11.
