EA Sports NHL 19 includes tribute to Humboldt Broncos
Since the tragic bus crash which killed 16 members of the Humboldt Broncos’ hockey team, and left 13 injured, the hockey community has taken any opportunity available to show their support to those affected.
In the latest installment of EA Sports’ NHL series, NHL 19, the game will include a hat-tip to the tragedy-struck club, with a game mode featuring the popular #SticksOutForHumboldt tribute.

It is great that EA Sports decided to show their support for Humboldt with this gesture. Given how deeply this affected those in the hockey community, it is very fitting that the most popular hockey video game did something to honour the victims and their families
The #SticksOutForHumboldt movement was a small gesture made by many to let the community know they were thinking of them.
Ugh, so cute. My grandma is 91 and from Regina, and went out to buy a hockey stick so she had one to leave on her front steps. #SticksOutForHumboldt #HumboldtStrong pic.twitter.com/yvmhYUHBRd
