Dylan Dreyer, Wells Adams among celebs at LPGA TOC, where some handicaps are crazy low

World No. 1 Nelly Korda and LPGA Hall of Famer Lydia Ko highlight the LPGA player portion of next week's Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Ko, who won the event last year near her Lake Nona home to kick off a "fairy-tale" season, is back this year as a brand ambassador for HGV. The season-opening event will be held Jan. 30-Feb. 2 in Orlando, Florida.

LPGA big names are only half the story TOC week, however, as a cast of celebrities compete for their own purse of $500,000. The handicaps of some of these players might surprise, too, with past champions John Smoltz and Mardy Fish boasting plus-handicaps of +1.9 and +3.1, respectively. MLB outfielder Aaron Hicks, who is married to former LPGA player Cheyenne Woods, carries a +1 handicap, while former NBA champion Ray Allen carries a +1.2.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher's 2.7 impresses, as does actor Don Cheadle's 7.0. Wells Adams of "Bachelor" fame carries a 3.5.

One of the most popular players in the field, however, probably has the least amount of time to practice. "Today" show meteorologist Dylan Dreyer, a mother of three, is coming out of the cold in New York City for a third straight year to play in the event.

Other women in the celebrity field include LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam, World Cup champion Brandi Chastain, Golf Channel and NBC Sports reporter Kira Dixon, television personality and model Blair O'Neal and content creator Hally Leadbetter, daughter of renowned instructor David Leadbetter.
