Dybala Wife Teases Future Transfer to Boca Juniors
Oriana Sabatini, the wife of Paulo Dybala, hinted that a return to Argentina could be in the cards for La Joya in the future. She dished on the Olga podcast (via Eurosport).
“Leandro Paredes has started suggesting the idea that they would team up in their home country. I’d really like to go back. However, I don’t want trouble in the family, as they are RIver Plate fans. Joking aside, if his friend wants him to join Boca Juniors, he’ll follow him. I know he would.”
The entourage of Dybala rushed to downplay the situation to La Gazzetta dello Sport, saying that the attacker was exclusively focused on helping Roma.
The playmaker has been injury-prone so far, logging just one goal and failing to register an assist. It’s his worst start since his first campaign at Palermo. He played just three minutes against Napoli. Claudio Ranieri admitted he took a risk since the striker was far from 100 percent.
Dybala will obtain an automatic renewal until 2026 once he collects seven/eight more appearances of at least 45 minutes. That would mean that he has featured in 55 percent of the matches in the past 3 years, as his contract mandates.
He got his start at Instituto, which played in Primera B Nacional at the time, before transferring to Serie A at a very young age.
Our Take on Dybala
The end of his time in the Italian capital seems nigh, and perhaps the sirens will resurface in January. Still, they surely need his best version in trying times.
