The PGA season won’t reach peak intensity for a few months yet, but if it weren’t already clear that Dustin Johnson will be one of the biggest threats to win every major tournament he enters, it certainly is now.

The world’s No. 1 golfer was back in action at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii this weekend and launched a few jaw-dropping shots including a very near hole-in-one on a par four.

Why bother deciding between being lucky or good when you can just be both?

There’s no doubt Johnson hit a monster shot off the tee, but you also can’t deny a few lucky bounces there. A few more inches and this becomes career highlight.

Johnson shot 8-under in the final round to close out an eight-stroke victory over Jon Rahm at 16-under and the rest of the field.
