Dundee 1-2 Dundee United: What the manager said

Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "Feels great [to win the derby], that was the plan before the game.

"We're on great form coming into it and we spoke about the incentive coming into it with the Aberdeen result, if we win we could go third and that is the case now, we're above Aberdeen on goal difference which is fantastic for this group of players, a newly-promoted team.

"Delighted for all the supporters, I thought it was a really entertaining game of football, two teams going at it.

"I'm delighted our supporters are going home with the bragging rights."
