Dummett misses Carlisle game after car accident
Paul Dummett's debut for Carlisle United had to be delayed after he was injured in a car accident.
The ex-Newcastle United defender, who joined from Wigan Athletic, missed the 1-0 defeat by Bradford City after the incident happened on Friday on the way to training.
He suffered cuts and bruises but no serious injuries and head coach Mike Williamson confirmed that he will be available to train on Monday.
"He was taken to hospital just for checks and everything has come back absolutely fine," Williamson told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"But the decision was taken not to involve him."
Dummett is one of nine new players signed this month to boost a Carlisle side that are bottom of League Two.
