Friday marked the annual "Anaheim Ducks Day at Disneyland" event held by the Ducks and Disney organizations.

Fans were invited to spend a day at Disney California Adventure for a day filled with Ducks-themed games, photo opportunities, player interactions, a cavalcade, and more.

Ducks fans turned up in droves to acquire exclusive merchandise, see their favorite players, and enjoy a day at a Disney park with a touch of hockey on Friday.

Alex Killorn signed with Anaheim as an unrestricted free agent in July of 2023, so Friday marked his second "Ducks Day" event.

"It was good. It was a really fun day," Ducks forward Alex Killorn said on Thursday. "It's really nice to see how many fans showed up. Great day, awesome day overall."

The Ducks acquired defenseman Jacob Trouba on Dec. 6 from the New York Rangers. He was able to be part of a unique experience, one of the more unique fan engagement events in the NHL.

"It was good. Definitely a different experience, but it was fun to see everybody out there," Ducks newest defenseman Jacob Trouba said. "We all kind of take our families out there and enjoy Disney.

"It's been a long time since I've been to one of those parks, so it was fun. We surprised some fans on the Soarin' ride, sat with them. I was with two kids out here for a roller hockey tournament from Hawaii, so that was pretty cool to see them, and they were excited."

Trouba spent the first six seasons of his NHL career playing for the Winnipeg Jets and the next five-plus for the Rangers, where he was named captain for the last three.

"We always did fan engagement stuff (in Winnipeg and New York), but that was pretty unique to this place, I would say," Trouba added.

"Ducks Day" was sandwiched between home games on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, a 5-1 victory, and Friday against the Nashville Predators before the Ducks head on the road to face the Seattle Kraken and Calgary Flames.
