Donald Trump will be in attendance at Army-Navy

Maybe the President-elect of the United States will be firing off some football-related tweets in the next few days?

A spokesman for President-elect Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday that Trump will be at Saturday’s game between Army and Navy. He’ll sit on the Army side of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore in the first half and on the Navy side in the second half.

According to the Baltimore Sun, it’s Trump’s first visit to the city since September.

Presidential attendance at the games is commonplace. President Barack Obama last attended the game in 2011 and George W. Bush went three times and was in attendance in 2008, the final year of his two terms as president.

Trump has huge football knowledge. Or at least he’d probably tell you his familiarity of the game was fantastic and top level. Since the President-elect is such a voracious and bombastic user of Twitter, we figured he probably had some football-related tweets. And sure enough, he had this to say after the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl XLIX win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Yeah, he was referring to the pass Malcolm Butler intercepted in the end zone. And we now know why Trump was so supportive of Brady and Belichick in his tweet. Just before the November election, Trump said he had the support of the Patriots coach and quarterback and that Belichick even wrote him a letter.
