Dominik Szoboszlai CHALLENGES Liverpool’s ‘fastest’ player after seeing his EAFC 25 rating
This week marks the release of the new EAFC 25 game with players always intrigued to see how their rating differs from the previous year.
Liverpool have released their annual video of the Reds reacting to their EAFC 25 card.
Diogo Jota and Alexis Mac Allister hosted the video as they went around the AXA Training Centre presenting their teammates with their ratings.

The video always guarantees at least one Liverpool player to jokingly show annoyance with specific stats on their card, and this year it was Dominik Szoboszlai who had plenty of questions to ask.
The Hungarian first acknowledged his defensive improvement with a plus 20 being added to his defending stat.
However, the midfielder was quick to point out how inaccurate his pace rating (82) is when comparing it to his Liverpool teammates.
“Mine should be the highest in the team if you go by the stats,” Szoboszlai said in Liverpool’s YouTube video.
Federico Chiesa has been given the highest pace rating (93) at the club with Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez boasting ratings of 90.
When informed about the Italian’s stat, Szoboszlai joked that he’d beat him in a race even with sliders on.
“Put me now with these (sliders) on - I’m faster than him,” the Hungarian claimed.
Does Szoboszlai have a point?
Szoboszlai may not be your first-choice answer when it comes to naming who you believe is the fastest Liverpool player, but he certainly should be.
Liverpool’s number eight recorded the fastest speed out of all his teammates during the 2023/24 Premier League season away at Wolves.
The Hungarian hit the highest speed of 36.76km/h as he tracked back to help nullify a Wolves counter-attack.
Szoboszlai’s recovery run was the 7th quickest speed recorded during the last campaign and will be hoping to demonstrate to EAFC again this season why he deserves a major upgrade to his pace rating next season.
