The New York Jets (4-6) have benched quarterback Zach Wilson for their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins, a decision that was made after the team suffered three consecutive losses and the lack of improvement from Wilson this season. Tim Boyle will be starting in Wilson's place as quarterback for Week 12.

Jets' head coach Robert Saleh announced the switch to Boyle after Wilson's poor performance in the in the Jets' 32-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. Wilson only managed to complete seven of his 15 passes for 81 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

Boyle, who went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, will lead the Jets against the Miami Dolphins. Meanwhile, Trevor Siemian has been promoted from the practice squad and will serve as Boyle's backup. Thus making Zach Wilson the third-string quarterback for Week 12.

On the other hand, the Miami Dolphins, who have a record of 7-3, head to MetLife Stadium after a 20-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed 28 of 39 passes for 325 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception against the Las Vegas Raiders. The star of the game goes to Jalen Ramsey, who made the game-winning interception with just 22 seconds left in the end zone to seal the victory for the Dolphins.
