DJ Moore explains what Bears need in their next head coach

The major question for the future of the Chicago Bears is their decision regarding their next head coach, after an absolutely sickening season that had fans calling for a sale of the team in the final home game. Following a 6-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football in Week 17, star wide receiver DJ Moore was asked the type of head coach that has been rumored around the Bears vacancy, and his preference type for the job.

Moore was asked what type of coach would be best for the Bears -- be it a play caller or a leader -- the veteran went with leadership.

"It'd be great to have both in one, but you've got to get a good leader in here, and the head coach has to have the offensive mind, and the genius offensive coordinator right beside him," Moore said.

Recently, older and more established head coaches, like Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll, have been attached as rumored possibilities. While Belichick took the head coach job at the University of North Carolina, Carroll is still available and has shown an interest in the job. As those two legendary names have been rumored, the biggest name that many fans and others are calling for is young Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who would be looking at his first ever head coaching job.

For all the talk surrounding the Bears' coaching vacancy, and all of the intriguing names that could be involved, there seems to be a consistent leadership. Whether it's from local Chicago media, the national media, players in the locker room, or the biggest critics, anyone who has discussed the Bears this season has put emphasis on the team needing a real leader and an offensive minded coach who can get the most out of quarterback Caleb Williams.
