Dierks Bentley pays up, wears Matt Murray jersey on stage
After having the last laugh in Nashville, Matt Murray had another.
Country star and Predators celebrity fan Dierks Bentley paid up a Stanley Cup Final bet he lost to a Pittsburgh radio host on Saturday, wearing the No. 30 jersey of the Penguins’ rookie stopper on stage.
Someone pass along to @beckhamthenewf #mattmurray! thanks for the jersey ha. bet lost, paid in full… https://t.co/6ZHPClsuac pic.twitter.com/6uq3y2zEO3

Bentley took it all in stride, of course, and cleverly opened the skit he filmed backstage with an acknowledgement of the verbal assault Murray took inside Bridgestone Arena.
But while there’s little doubt Bentley was involved in the “It’s all your fault” barrage from his perch in the craziest rink in the NHL, his pre-concert schtick wasn’t without a helpful reminder.
You see, Murray got his hands on the jersey before it reached the venue, and he personalized it (or better yet, shifted the blame) with an expert dig above his signature.

Just one winner, but good P.R. can be had for all.
