The Oklahoma Sooners are out of the big dance as the NCAA Selection Committee kept them out of the 2024 edition of March Madness.

The Sooner's odds of finding a way into the tournament shrunk as unexpected conference champions emerged over the weekend. The selection committee listed Oklahoma as the last team out of the tournament.

Oklahoma was knocked out of the Big-12 tournament by TCU in the first round, a dramatic fall after being a top-10 team in January.

The Sooners finished the season with a 20-12 record with only four wins but all defeats coming against the Quad 1 teams.

The Sooners will likely have a choice to play in the NIT tournament. The Sooners are predicted by NITBracketology.com to be a No. 1 seed if the invitation is accepted. The NIT brackets will be announced at 8:30 p.m. CT.
