Did Bronny James play tonight? Kings-Lakers box score

Bronny James once again didn't play for the Los Angeles Lakers, who hosted the Sacramento Kings in a Pacific Division matchup on Saturday night.

He also did not play Friday in a 123-116 victory over the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers also won Saturday's contest, 131-127, to improve to 3-0.

James is expected to remain with the team for the upcoming five-game road trip, which includes a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, before joining the South Bay Lakers in the G League.

In his only regular season action of the season, James went 0-for-2 from the field while collecting one rebound in three minutes of play against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the season opener.

Bronny James received a DNP-Coach's Decision on Saturday night. He was among the three players coach JJ Redick did not insert into the game, another close contest.

Lakers' next game

The Lakers play their first road game of the season Monday, in a rematch against Phoenix (10 p.m. ET, NBA TV).
