Devils Goaltender To Miss Time With Injury
New Jersey Devils goaltender Jacob Markstrom sustained an injury on Wednesday night at Prudential Center.
At the 3:09 mark of the second period, Boston Bruins forward Justin Brazeau crashed into Markstrom. He was called for goaltender interference as New Jersey's goaltender remained down on the ice.

With the help of a trainer and teammate Stefan Noesen, Markstrom made his way to the Devils bench, seemingly having issues with his left leg.
After the game, head coach Sheldon Keefe provided an update on his goaltender.
"We will take some time before we have the full extent on (Markstrom), but I talked to him and he is in good spirits, and commented to me that he is feeling a lot better now than he was before," he said. "So, that is a positive, but he is going to miss some time."
Markstrom made six saves on seven shots and played 23:09. Jake Allen entered the game in relief and made 16 saves on 16 shots to backstop the team to a 5-1 victory.
"It is tough to see," Allen said. "As a goalie, as soon as I saw it, I started getting my stuff on. Everyone stepped up. That is what happens when guys are out of the lineup."
It marked Allen's first win since Nov. 23 against the Washington Capitals.
"Tremendous job by our whole group continuing to play," Keefe continued. "(Markstrom) has been so important for our team. It could have been a real drain on the energy of the group. Guys didn't let it be. That was really great to see."
