Devils' Gameday Notebook: Line Changes, Projected Lineup & More
The New Jersey Devils will host the New York Rangers at Prudential Center on Monday afternoon for their final game before the NHL's holiday break. It marks the second meeting between the Hudson River Rivals this season.
Head coach Sheldon Keefe held a practice on Sunday afternoon at RWJBarnabas Health Hockey House in Newark in preparation for Monday's 1:00 P.M. matinee.
Curtis Lazar, who will not be in the lineup until after the holidays, joined his team on the ice and skated with Kurtis MacDermid as an extra.
Keefe made additional changes to his forward group in the hopes of getting secondary scoring. The following lines and pairs were used during the team's practice on Sunday afternoon:
Paul Cotter - Jack Hughes - Dawson Mercer
Timo Meier - Nico Hischier - Stefan Noesen
Ondrej Palat - Erik Haula - Jesper Bratt
Tomas Tatar - Justin Dowling - Nathan Bastian
Brenden Dillon - Dougie Hamilton
Jonas Siegenthaler - Johnathan Kovacevic
Luke Hughes - Brett Pesce
Head coach Sheldon Keefe did not address the media after practice. He will speak to reporters at 10:45 A.M. on Monday.
