Detroit Lions-Washington Commanders bet on tap for Kevin Durant and Devin Booker
The stars aligned for Phoenix Suns teammates Kevin Durant and Devin Booker to make a friendly wager on some playoff football.
Durant is a Washington, D.C. native and fan of the Commanders. Booker is a Michigan native and fan of the Detroit Lions. Their teams are set to play Saturday in Detroit in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs -- hours before the Suns are at Little Caesars Arena to play the Detroit Pistons.
Of course Durant and Booker are going to have a stake on the game. "For sure," Booker said when asked if there would be a bet. "Whatever he wants to do."

A little wager perhaps?

Durant said he'd hit Booker on the side to figure something out. "You don't even gotta worry about that," he said.
With the Suns playing at 4 p.m. and Commanders-Lions starting at 8 p.m., the two might even be able to watch in person.
The banter continued after a recent game at Charlotte.
“I’m going to hit him on the side,” a smiling Durant said about Booker. “Y’all don’t even got to worry about that and we’ll see what happens this week, but I’m excited we get to play in the playoffs against a great team and we’re actually going to be in that city. It’s going to be dope.”
The Lions received a bye for having the NFC’s best record at 15-2. The Commanders finished the regular season 12-5.
