La Liga giants Barcelona have presented a new offer to RB Leipzig, for star man Dani Olmo.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

With widespread sources now in agreement that Barcelona’s chances of landing chief attacking target Nico Williams have all but come to an end, Deco and co. have turned their attentions firmly towards the signing of the aforementioned Olmo.

After seeing a previous bid firmly rebuffed by their counterparts at RB Leipzig, the Blaugrana, in turn, have returned to the table, with a new-and-improved proposal.

As per Sport, the offer comprises a fixed fee of €50 million, backed by bonuses of around €15 million.

Should all of the add-ons detailed be activated, Leipzig would in turn secure their desired €60 million fee, and more.

Not only that, but, this time round, Barcelona’s offered payment terms are also much more agreeable for the Bundesliga outfit.

Work remains to be done, but, with their latest bid, Barca appear to have taken a significant step forward in efforts to land the club’s first big-money summer signing.
