An insight into the details of the offer being readied by La Liga giants Barcelona to RB Leipzig for Dani Olmo has this weekend been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards the Blaugrana being prepared to spend big.

It is of course now common knowledge across all of Spain that Barcelona are eyeing moves for not one, but two headline signings over the weeks ahead.

Whilst the previous understanding was that they were set to be forced to choose between Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, the Camp Nou brass are now readying all-out assaults to bring in both.

In the case of the former, the matter is a straightforward one – raise the €58 million required to activate his release clause.

Olmo’s contract with RB Leipzig, meanwhile, also contains a buyout clause, set at €60 million.

As per Sport, though, owing to their delicate financial situation, and the player’s eagerness for the transfer, Barca are hopeful of finding an agreement for the club’s former academy talent for, potentially, a little less.

‘Taking advantage of the player’s complicity, Barça will offer a transfer with fixed and variable amounts up to around 60 million euros. A more affordable operation that can satisfy all parties.’

Once the club’s bank accounts allow for it, Deco and his team of directors will therefore table a bid worth ‘around 50 million euros plus add-ons’.
