Details: Ansu Fati’s massive Barcelona salary

An insight into the financial package currently being enjoyed by Ansu Fati at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Friday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards the Spanish international as being one of the highest-paid players in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Ansu has for his part of course endured a season to forget to date.

After struggling for form and fitness alike during a loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion last season, the 22-year-old was afforded the opportunity to prove himself back in the colours of his parent club.

To date, however, this is a chance which Ansu has failed to grasp, owing to a combination of fresh injury woes and competition for places.

Safe to say, then, that it should come as little surprise to hear of those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou becoming increasingly concerned with the lack of value for money being extracted from their young attacker’s contract.

Ansu, for his part, penned a long-term deal with Barca back in the summer of 2021.

And, included in the terms of as much, as confirmed by Diario Sport, was an annual salary set at a whopping €14 million gross.

Ansu remains contracted to the Blaugrana all the way through 2027.
