'Deserved to win and no better feeling than beating Aberdeen'

We asked for your views on Dundee United's 1-0 win against Aberdeen.

Stephen: Simply superb, the scoreline is the only stat that doesn't show just how dominant United were. Aberdeen had a couple of chances but it felt like a matter of time until we scored. A complete reverse of the Pittodrie game. Jim Goodwin deserves the plaudits, he got the tactics and the team spot on, plus he has every single one of them bought in!

Eddie: Absolutely brilliant, what a way to win such a huge game! Deserved to win and no better feeling than beating Aberdeen. Kevin Holt has been fantastic and this was maybe his best game for us. Bring on the fun!

Duncan: Great season, so far. The team appear to be playing for each other and are working hard.

Andrew: Deserved win as we had the better chances through the game. Once again this team keep going until the final whistle. Poor defending from Aberdeen and super Holt scores. Great job team and Goodwin. Now onto Dens and the same result.

Kevin: United for me always looked the likelier to notch a winner but the whole time it's level the sucker punch can happen at any time. I thought defensively we were superb and if not for Holt notching that fabulous late winner, it would have been one of the best 0-0 draws I have seen and a fabulous advert for the Scottish game.

Calum: I was at Tannadice and thought we definitely just edged it as the better team. Aberdeen played well in periods but we created the clearer chances. This team has an incredible spirit about it and huge credit to Goodwin for fostering that. A derby win next week would incredible.
