Derek Carr's retweet helps locate abducted child
Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr received a lot of credit for his play on the field this season, but his most important contribution came well after his season ended.
And all it took was the push of a button.
Oakland police are giving the Raiders QB credit for helping locate a missing 3-year-old child who was abducted by a family member.
Carr retweeted the following Amber Alert to his 246,000 Twitter followers on Saturday.

Lt. Chris Bolton of the Oakland P.D. believes Carr’s decision to share the information was a crucial turning point.
So it appears the secret to sharing local missing child info is a RT by your local @NFL QB. Thank you, @derekcarrqb! Child safely located!

Carr, who has spent his entire career in Oakland, had his season come to an end on Christmas Eve after suffering a broken fibula against the Colts, two weeks before the Raiders were eliminated from the playoffs by the Texans.
