Yahoo Sports Derby midfielder Ozoh suffers injury setback
Derby County midfielder David Ozoh could remain sidelined for another month after suffering an injury on the the eve of his comeback from a hamstring problem.
The 19-year-old Crystal Palace loanee last featured for the Rams in mid-September and missed six matches because of his previous injury.
He is now expected to miss the next four fixtures leading up to the November international break after hurting his quad muscle.
"He has had a setback, which is disappointing because that was his last day," Warne told BBC Radio Derby.
"We wont see him before the international break, that is for sure.
"It's a massive blow and he is obviously devastated because, realistically, by the time he comes back that is two-and-a-half months that we have been without him and he had a really good start."
Derby won three of their first five matches on their Championship return with Ozoh starting in each of them.
He scored his first goal for the Rams in their 3-0 win against Bristol City a week before he was forced off against Cardiff with the hamstring injury.
"It shows how far the team has come because he has been missing, but the team has been performing, " Warne added.
"We wish him a speedy recovery because he is missed."
Confirmation of Ozoh's continued absence is the second major piece of injury news to come out of Derby this week, with defender Ryan Nyambe ruled out for up to six months with a knee injury.
