Manchester United have travelled to Turkey to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League clash tomorrow.

Ahead of the game, Christian Eriksen accompanied Erik ten Hag to the pre-match press conference.

The midfielder is in the final year of his contract and was quizzed about his future with Man United.

He responded (via ManUtd.com): “It’s not really up to me when my contract runs out, it’s up to the club.

“When the summer comes if the offer is there I will definitely take it seriously.

“Some games you play and some you don’t. I’ve been in and out last two seasons but I definitely enjoy playing for Man Utd. The manager makes the decisions about who is playing and you do your best when you can.”

Eriksen has been an ‘important’ player for Ten Hag this season. He has bagged three goals and three assists in nine appearances across all competitions.

He was the standout player for United in the 2-1 victory over Brentford. Thomas Frank credited him for ‘running the show’ in the second half.

In a surprising turn of events, the 32-year-old has emerged as a mainstay in the starting XI.

He was heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit last summer with Ajax interested in signing him.

Eriksen is currently undroppable and we believe he will start against Fenerbahce tomorrow.

He has a massive role to play with Bruno Fernandes suspended and Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo injured.

He could start in the number ten spot with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte playing behind him.
