DeAndre Hopkins to reportedly miss rest of regular season with knee injury
The Arizona Cardinals will fight for the top seed in the playoffs without one of their biggest playmakers. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is expected to miss the rest of the regular season due to a sprained knee, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Hopkins sustained the injury during Monday night's loss to the Los Angeles Rams. He had an MRI on Monday, and went for a second opinion Wednesday.
Hopkins may need surgery to correct the issue, according to Schefter.
Hopkins is seeking a second opinion with Dr. Neal ElAttrache. It is still uncertain whether Hopkins will need surgery. But either way, his regular is believed to have to come an end.

Despite the injury, the Cardinals hope Hopkins can return during the playoffs. No NFL has clinched a playoff spot yet, but the 10-3 Cardinals are in good shape to punch their postseason ticket in Week 15. The team would get in with a win or tie against the Detroit Lions.
Hopkins missed time earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury. In 10 games, Hopkins has 42 catches for 572 yards and 8 touchdowns.
